Movie Monday: 10 Years.

The night of their high school reunion, a group of friends realize they still haven't quite grown up in some ways.

If you're looking for a good nostalgic flick this is it. It follows a group of high school friends, some who have kept in touch and some that have gone on to different things. The whole film feels very real. It's one of those movie where the more you watch it the more engrossed you get with it. Some story lines are a little annoying but most are well done and very endearing. A great movie to watch on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Best part of the movie!

Movie Monday: Much Ado About Nothing.

I am so super stoked for this movie. There hasn't been any good Shakespeare adaptations in while. It makes me want to dust of my complete works, because come to think of it I think I've ever read Much Ado... Oops... Plus can we discuss how Joss Whedon filmed this movie in his own house?!

Movie Monday (on a Tuesday): Les Miz.

If I could write this whole post as a love letter to the brilliant performances of Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne and Samantha Barks, who conveyed my favorite love triangle of all time better than I have ever seen it, ever, I would, but I know that would only interest me and know one else.... I totally believed that Marius and Cosette fell in love at first sight because I fell in love with them as well. When Eponine’s face lights up at the slightest bit of attention from Marius I melted and felt died a little on the inside in pity for her. They were amazingly brilliant and if the whole movie was about them I would watch it over and over again...

Ok now that I got that out of my system.....

Anne Hathaway - You were absolutely breathtaking and I loved your long hair! It was so pretty and you should never cut it again! You’re voice was unexpectedly beautiful and so full of emotion. “I Dreamed a Dream” was the most appropriately heart-wrenching (is that a thing?) thing I have ever seen ever. You are so deserving of all the praise you have received. Oh and PS, SHE DID IT ALL IN ONE TAKE BITCHES!

Aaron Tveit, Gavroche and the Barricade Boys - You were without a doubt the best part of the movie. Seriously Jean Valjean and Javert who?! Your scenes were so full of emotion, I wanted to be on the barricade with you!

Samantha Barks - I know I already mentioned her but homegirl gets her own paragraph. Best Eponine Ever! And that’s saying something because it’s my dream role. She is the best character in the history of musical theater (number two probably being Millie... or Ilse) and she played her brilliantly and with so much life. Making her an actual person instead of a lovesick, lost, little girl.

Movie Monday: Top 5 Golden Globe Speeches.

Who watched the Golden Globes? Weren't they amazing?! I'm pretty sure Tina Fey and Amy Poehler should just host everything but that might just be me...  I'm super excited for Girls, Lena Dunham, Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lawrence. Anyways I know I'm probably one of the few but I actually really love to hear acceptance speeches. I think they say a lot about the actor's character. Last night there were some really great ones.

Meghan's Top 5 Golden Globe Speeches:

5. J-Law Quotes First Wives Club

4. Lena Dunham can't walk in her shoes

3. Adele is adorable

2. Anne Hathaway admires Sally Field and reminds us she's the Princess of Genovia

1. Hugh Jackman lets the whole world know his wife is right

You're such a TEASE!

It's Movie Monday and this week it's all about the incredible trailers. I'm such a sucker for movie trailers. I'm the girl that goes to the theater 20 minutes early to make sure she doesn't miss them. Here are the movies that I am dying to see:

Who doesn't love The Muppets?! I mean lets be real here. This movie is going to make a TON of money. It has an incredible cast and did I mention its THE MUPPETS!!!!!

If I could only go see one movie in the next week it would be this one. I am literately dying to see it. My boyfriend is getting so sick of hearing about it. Seriously everytime I watch the trailer I cry. It just looks so raw and real.

I have been waiting for this movie to come out for a year! I was so upset when they pushed it back so Michelle Williams didn't have to split her Oscar votes. Good for her. Bad for us, but now its FINALLY coming out and it looks incredible.

How adorable does this movie look? I love animated movies. I'm a child, what can I say. This movie looks super cute. I never read this book as a kid, but I read plenty of other Dr. Seuss books.

I know everyone thinks this movie looks stupid but I'm a sucker for a movie with an ensemble cast. I love how all the different stories intertwine.  Plus this one has my girl Lea Michele in it. It's her first movie!!! Yay. :)
What movies are you guys dying to see?

"Well, in case Jimi Hendrix shows up tonight, here's my number."

It's Movie Monday!

Who doesn't love Hocus Pocus? I mean seriously it is the greatest Halloween movie ever. Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted to be Sarah Sanderson for Halloween but it's a very expensive intricate costume and the time just hasn't come yet, but one day I will be it. Maybe I can get Matt to be Billy! That would be fantastic.
