Top Ten (five) Tuesday: Top Ten Books When You Need Something Light & Fun

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.

1. Pretty Little Liars

I love these books. I seriously devour them. They are so addicting. I've only read the first nine but I'm super excited to jump into the new ones. They're fun and sassy. Perfect when you're looking for something light and fluffy.

2. Ruby Oliver

Ruby is one of my favorite narrators. I love her neurosis. She's adorable and so much fun to spend time with. Reading her books is like hanging out with your best friend.

3. Rachel Cohn and David Levithan

I remember seeing the cover to Nick and Norah at a bookstore when I was younger and telling my mom I wanted it for my birthday. It has been one of my favorite books since. I love the switched POV writing style and have devoured every book Rachel Cohn and David Levithan have written since. They know exactly how to write characters you fall in love with.

4. Stephanie Perkins

These are the books I read when I want to go somewhere. Stephanie Perkins books always suck me in and I am completely enthralled with them. I'm not going to say too much about them because I know everyone has already read them and if they haven't they should... now! Can't wait for ISLA!

5. Sarah Dessen
I don't know where to start when it comes to Sarah Dessen. She is my most favorite author of all time. She is the author I most look forward to when she has new books coming out. Her stories are warm and sweet and home.

  1. Awesome List!! I loved Anna, Lola, and Dash and Lily. Those three made my list as well. I have read Lock and Key and The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen and loved them both. I plan on reading This Lullaby next.

  3. Believe it or not, I haven't read ANY of these books/authors! I know, it's pathetic. Most of the books you listed are on my TBR pile, I just haven't gotten around to them yet. *Sigh* Someday ...
